Loving God, loving People

What a joy it is to introduce you to our church! You’ll discover that our passion is to be a Christ-centered church that fulfills the two greatest commandments by loving God and loving people (Matt 22:37-40).

At TPC, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. What people usually notice first about us is the life-giving nature of our ministry. Our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.

Our Mission

Because we believe that Loving God and Loving People is our purpose, it drives our mission in four distinct ways:

We come to Love God by first Knowing God. We endeavor to introduce people to the living God, Jesus Christ, so that they may enter into a life changing relationship with Him.

We also Love God by becoming more like him. We do this by Finding Freedom from our hurts, habits, and hang ups so that our character matches His.

We Love People by Discovering our Purpose. We believe that God has placed a special gift(s) in each person and we want to help you discover that.

Finally, we Love People by Making a Difference. Once you Discover your Purpose, we want to equip you to Make a Difference in the lives of those around you.

What We Believe

Godhead

We believe that there is one God (Deut 6:4) who was made flesh in the person of Jesus Christ (John 1:14, 1 Tim 3:16).

Baptism

We believe in full immersion baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38).

Spirit

We believe that God still fills people with the Holy Spirit evidenced by speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4). It is this same Spirit that guides one to all truth and transforms lives.

Spiritual Gifts

We believe that the Spirit empowers believers to edify one another through supernatural gifts and gifts of service (1 Cor 12:7-11, Rom 12:3-8).

Divine Healing

The vicarious suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ paid not only for the salvation of our souls but also for the healing of our bodies. We believe that divine healing for the body is in the atonement (Is 53:5, Matt 8:17).

The Second Coming

That Jesus is coming again the second time in person, just as He went away, is clearly set forth by the Lord Jesus Himself, and was preached and taught in the early Christian church by the apostles; hence, the children of God today are earnestly, hopefully, looking forward to the glorious event (Matt 24, Acts 1:11, 1 Thess 4:14-17).
